Defending My Online Business!

Has the reputation of online home based business become so bad that it
has come to this? I really do not believe so, even though there are many problems and concerns that we all are facing as we run an online business.
I do think that this was an isolated incident. Although people are somewhat
skeptical about home based business, work from home, and make-money online programs, I do

not think that it has turned to extreme panic and distrust. However, we do have to
be aware that there are a lot of scams and schemes in cyberspace that do give the
good ones a bad name. This is actually a shame, because many good businesses are now having to defend their good name because of the unethical practices that many online businesses have.

I am hoping that in time, there will be more policing of these scams, schemes, and
internet robbery. I do hope that it does not have to get worse before it gets
better.

The honest ones who run their businesses will just have to be patient and improve our status online although frustrating at times but as you feel on your good days it's worth it.

As the internet is ever changing we know that the scam artist and the fly by nighters aren't going anywhere so we have to work harder on building relationships where people trust the serious marketers.

Let me give you an example of a bad one. New startup, this marketer is promoting like crazy. He introduces me to it. I politely tell him the things that doesn't make it legitimate. I try to contact the owners but he insists that it's a good program. The program never gets up and running so who loses, The honest promoters of legitimate programs.

I think that a lot of times our defense of our home based business happens
because of all of the scams that are abound on the internet. The problem
is that many of these scams look good and are advertised with beautiful web
sites complete with fabulous sound and graphics. Another problem is that
these big gurus are promoting these scams because of their strong advertising dollars and resources!

I think in a sense that you are correct but don't just blame it on the gurus because today anybody can proclaim they are a guru just by association.

Often I see how much this industry is hurt by the scammers (hit and runners) and the so called marketers who just sign up to a community to try and promote their product or service but don't have any input in the community. When people who do participate start communicating and talking the truth they up and go somewhere else.

Have you noticed the people who look for help but they want a quick fix or want someone else to do the work for them? They don't realize that they can be successful if they would put some time and effort into it. They don't realize how long it really takes if they don't have the right leadership and tools and it shouldn't cost them an arm and leg.
