USES OF ALDER

Alder is a tree that closely resembles a birch tree. Typically the inner bark is used to treat ailments. A person can either use the bark to apply topically to cuts, scrapes or even burns by chewing yet careful not to suck any of the nutrients or “medicinal qualities” from it. It can be directly applied to the wounded area.

Also, the inner bark of the Alder tree can be boiled and the tea that is made from it can be drunk. This will relieve stomach or abdominal problems such as nausea, cramping, diarrhea etc.

These are just my opinions. You should do your own research when trying anything on this site.
